FAQ

General

Are you a broker or a direct funder?

We're a broker, and we'll tell you that up front. Whoever you talk to, it's fair to ask whether they're a broker or the funder. We work your file in-house and place it with funders we have relationships with, rather than sending it everywhere at once.

Will this hit my credit?

No. Seeing your options is a soft check. There's no hard pull and no application fee.

How fast can it fund?

Decisions usually come back the same day once we have statements and the application. Funding often lands within 24 hours of signing, though that depends on the funder and your bank.

What do you need from me?

Four months of business bank statements and a one-page application. If we ask for anything sensitive later, it goes through the secure application, never a plain email.

What does it cost?

Pricing depends on your revenue, time in business, and what you're already paying. Any number quoted before someone sees your statements is a guess. You'll see the full cost in writing before you sign anything.

Is a merchant cash advance a loan?

No. A merchant cash advance is not a loan. A funder provides capital now in exchange for a share of your future receivables, which is paid back through daily or weekly payments. The exact terms are set by the funder in its own agreement.

Working capital

What can working capital be used for?

Payroll, inventory, equipment, materials, or covering the gap while customers pay slowly. It's your business, so it's your call.

How are payments made?

Payments are daily or weekly and scale with the business. You'll see the amount and schedule in writing before you sign.

How long are the terms?

Terms can run up to 24 months, and some offers include incentives for paying early. What you're offered depends on underwriting.

Consolidation

I already have three advances. Is that a dead end?

Not necessarily. Stacked positions are the most common reason people call us. Whether consolidation helps depends on the balances, the payments, and who holds them.

Will consolidation lower my payment?

That's the aim, but it isn't guaranteed. A combined position on a longer term can lower what you pay each day or week. Whether it does depends on your balances, your revenue, and what a funder offers after underwriting.

Does a longer term cost more overall?

It can. Spreading payments over a longer term can mean paying for longer, and the total cost may be higher. That's why you'll see the payment, the term, and the total cost in writing, side by side with what you pay now.

Is the calculator an offer?

No. It's an example only. It adds up what you enter and applies the reduction you choose so you can see the math. Actual terms depend on underwriting.

Past defaults or payment issues

Will a past default automatically disqualify me?

Not automatically. Some funders will consider businesses with prior defaults or past payment issues. It isn't a promise of approval, and every file is reviewed on its own.

Should I tell you about the history up front?

Yes. It will come up in underwriting anyway, and knowing early lets us take the file to funders who actually consider it, instead of wasting your time.

What if I'm currently in default on an advance?

Tell us on the first call. A current default is usually not a fit, and we'd rather be straight with you about that than take you through an application that won't go anywhere.

Will it cost more because of my history?

It may. A rough payment history can mean fewer options or tighter terms. You'll see the full cost in writing before you sign, and if it doesn't make sense, we'll say so.
